Next time you go to a Nokia Dealer to give your junk phone, the firm will plant a tree and it also assures you the degradation of the junk phone in an eco-friendly manner. This initiative was introduced by the company on World Environment Day.

The company currently has 1300 'bins' at Nokia Dealers where people can put their Junk Phones

This is actually a much needed step in a country like India where proper e-waste management system is not available and this can pose a huge risk!
